3 Reasons Why There’s No Progress With Your Workouts

Even if you train regularly and eat well and still do not see any progress, there are other aspects that you might have overlooked.

No, it has nothing to do with genetics or even with doing things that aren’t legal or available to us but really not-so-obvious things that you might have overlooked.

So, here are 3 reasons why you aren’t seeing any progress with your workouts:

#1: In a bad relationship

As surprising as this might sound, bad relationships lead to stress and this affects your body composition negatively. While there are certain relationships that you can’t get rid of, probably the best way to get back on track is to cut out any unhealthy relationships that might undermine you as an individual. This could be overbearing girlfriends, in-laws, bosses or even coworkers.

#2: Your body contains toxins

Toxins such as cigarette smoke, prescription drugs, pollution, cosmetics reside in fat cells and since your body prefers survival over a six-pack, it usually does not use the fat (and toxins) stored in your body.

Of course, it goes without saying that these toxins have the ability to mess up your body. So, it’s in your best interests to release these toxins so that they can be disposed of. For this, infrared saunas, chelation therapy, detoxifying foot baths among other can be very effective.

#3: You’re not pushing yourself hard enough

Just because you’re at the gym regularly, that doesn’t mean you are pushing yourself hard enough. The truth is if you go through your workout leisurely without challenging yourself physically, it would be impractical to expect results.

Test your body’s limits but pushing yourself harder. Try new workouts at regular intervals. Push yourself harder and you’ll get the results you want.
