Losing weight naturally is a very healthy way to lose weight. There are lots of ways to do this. There are many supplements that are sold at health food stores that are natural in ingredients and can add in burning fat and speeding up your metabolism.

You want to be careful though if you use any of these, particularly if you are on prescription medication, and make sure there is no interaction between them. Also make sure you chose all natural supplements if you chose to add them to your regime.

Let’s look at five powerful fat burning foods.

1. Foods rich in Vitamin C. Eat lots of foods that contain lots of vitamin C. This is usually your fruits. Lemons, limes, oranges, tangerines, blueberries and tomatoes are all examples of foods that are rich in Vitamin C. Vitamin C actually has a fat burning quality to it and these are powerful natural foods to help you burn fat. Make sure you buy organic so that they are 100% natural and free of chemicals.

2. Drink green tea. Green tea actually speeds up your metabolism and helps your body burn fat. It is a natural tea that can be found in grocery stores and health food stores. Again, make sure and buy organic green tea so that you know it’s free of chemicals. Also, it’s recommended that you drink 2-3 glasses per day for optimal fat burning help.

3. Eat honey. Honey has been proven to metabolize the extra fat in your belly and/or body. You can buy honey from an actually honey farm where they produce their own or buy it from an organic store.

4. Take fish oil. Usually fish oil has to be taken in supplement form. It can be found in certain foods but they are hard to find. Fish oil has been proven to encourage the body to burn fat.

5. Eat lots of leafy green vegetables and lean proteins. Vegetables and lean proteins can be bought naturally and organically. Eat lots of broccoli, asparagus, fish and naturally raised chicken.

By eating these five powerful natural foods you will undoubtedly feel 100% better and lose weight. Also, consider limiting alcoholic beverages and avoid sugar and salt. Red wine can be organic and a glass a day is said to be good for the heart. But remember, these are more calories.

Salt causes your body to retain fluids and sugar is just “empty calories.” Plus they are not natural. You can buy kosher salt that is said to be natural but again, it does cause your body to retain water.
