For example, if you weigh 200 pounds, drink 100 ounces of water each day.

You should prepare smaller meals and eat every two to three hours. The idea is not to eat less during the day, but for shorter intervals between meals. So the body thinks it is in a sufficient state and has no need to save some extra energy (fat) for later.
